Franchise Law

 

Advice and representation regarding (a) key documents in the Franchisor-Franchisee Relationship that describe and establish the parties’ critical obligations and rights, including, among others, those pertaining to territory and exclusivity, hidden or high-risk contingencies, renewals or terminations, voluntary or involuntary transfers or sales, non-compete commitments, credit risks, and personal guarantees; (b) agreements with Critical Third-Parties such as landlords, lenders, suppliers and contractors; and (c) ownership agreements, operating entities and governance documents for ownership groups, financial partners, shareholders and members.  Also advice and litigation when and as needed in order to insure Compliance and Enforcement of the parties’ respective client’s rights and to prevent the other party’s default (please also refer to the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Area).
